Due Wednesday, 8/23 -- Writing Assignment 1 Paragraph

I can already tell this class is not like my former English classes. Far from the usual threatening assigned essays, this assignment is an open door. It provides my classmates and I with an opportunity to delve deeper into our future aspirations. Through interviewing those who can serve as role models, and becoming familiar with the writing processes within our potential careers, we get to learn more about who we want to be when we grow up. Also, by the time we complete this project, our writing skills will have undoubtedly improved, both in maturity and in the grammatical, organizational, and overall mechanical sense. It should be new, and challenging, and maybe even exciting.

Questions:
1) Do the interviews have to be in person/over the phone?
2) What if the people I have to interview write for a living?
3) What is the recommended structure of the paper?
